liquid regenerative water technology
PondClean is a liquid regenerative water technology, RWT, used to treat water systems with eutrophication issues. The photosynthetic bacterium, Rhodopsedomonas Palustris, plays a central role as it can break down organic matter without consuming oxygen.
Simultaneously, in an anaerobic bottom environment, it inhibits methane gas formation and breaks down hydrogen sulfide. R. palustris and a selected consortium of fermentation microorganisms. These serve as spreading colonies that gradually convert and counteract high organic loads in water systems.
